I am currently using sand as a filler and
1 1/2 handles. I do swings, farmers walk, medicine ball exercises with a partner and in a martial arts class I was teaching we were using them indoors, chest passing them at each other and trying to punch, elbow and kick them to the ground. There was no damage to the floor, only a slight bit of sand because I had not folded the top properly.
Right now I am impressed with the durability, the flexibility and the affordablity of this product.
